Documentary-style wedding photographer based in Richmond, Surrey.

I try to photograph a bit differently than your traditional wedding photographer.

Documentary-style APPROACH

The wedding you are planning is as unique as you are, and you want timeless photography to remember it by. I love photographing portraits and details, but what really matters is capturing your connection with the people who mean the most to you. Whether it's an intimate gathering with 20 guests, or a big party with all your friends and family, I want to photograph your wedding just the way it is.

Candid & Spontaneous images

I call myself a documentary-style wedding photographer because I strive to create heartfelt images by being as unobtrusive as possible. You are not yourself when you pose! You are yourself when you are fully immersed in the moment, letting your emotions flow freely . My photographs are about you.

BIG & SMALL Moments

Beyond all the important key moments that unfold at weddings are the fleeting, split-second interactions and moments that I love photographing. You might not realise I'm there, but whether at a distance or in the midst of the action, I'm always on the lookout for what is about to happen next.

Beyond the photos

Our relationship will be more than just business.  From our initial meeting to when you receive your photos and beyond, my priority is to deliver outstanding service and images that you and your family will cherish for many years to come. I treat everyone that hires me as a friend, and love spending some time getting to know you. Your trust in me helps me create genuine photos.

"Michael was a dream to work with; always there capturing the best moments, without being intrusive. His energy, creativity and enthusiasm is apparent in all his pictures and his documentary style has meant he has captured the story of our special day."
